Meet Dr. Adam Shroyer

Dr. Shroyer received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Iowa State University. He then attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). Dr. Shroyer graduated from dental school in 2015.
After finishing dental school, Dr. Shroyer practiced for seven years in various clinical
settings, such as private practice, community health, and dental mission work in Ecuador. After
much experience, he decided to purchase Dr. Fitzpatrick’s office and continue the legacy of
quality care and service in Southeast Iowa.
Dr. Shroyer is a lifelong learner and is passionate about dentistry! He has taken advanced training with state-of-the-art dental programs such as Dawson Academy and Spear. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, and Iowa Dental Association Southeast District, and has earned multiple professional distinctions, including his AGD Fellowship Award, fellowship status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics.

Dentistry has been a part of Dr. Shroyer’s life since he was a child. His grandmother, a dental hygienist, encouraged him from a young age to pursue dentistry. Originally from Beach Park, Illinois, his family relocated to the Cedar Rapids area during his childhood. During high school, he met his future wife Heidi, who was raised in Cedar Rapids yet has family roots in Winfield and Donnellson. They got married while attending Iowa State University. Adam and Heidi are blessed to have five children that they look forward to raising in Southeast Iowa.

Dr. Shroyer is blessed to have the privilege to plant his family in Southeast Iowa and treat his patients like family. He looks forward to meeting you and caring for your dental needs
